Moses had a speech problem and thought God should choose someone else. Rahab was a prostitute with a bad sexual past. David was an adulterer and murderer. Paul was a man who persecuted Christians and then dealt with a thorn in his flesh. Peter had inconsistent faith and denied Jesus when he was needed the most.

These stories and more show us God's love, mercy, grace and forgiveness. They show that God looks at our repentance and our heart, not our mistakes.
