Here is my Statement of Faith:

1. There is one God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe and His immeasurable, unconditional love is evident throughout Scripture and since the beginning of time (Deut. 6:4, 1 Cor. 8:6, 1 John 5:7-8)

2. Jesus was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, Mary (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1, Luke 1)

3. Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and that all who trust and call upon the name of the Lord Jesus shall be saved (Rom. 10:13). We are forgiven of our sins and given the gift of eternal life (John 3:16)

4. It is only through Jesus that we are saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12)

5. Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was resurrected, ascended into Heaven and He is now at the right hand of the Father, working as our mediator and High Priest (Luke 24:6:7, 1 Tim 2:5, Rom. 8:34, Hebrews 4:14)

6. Jesus was both fully God and fully human (John 1:1, John 1:14, Phil. 2:7)

7. One day, at a time only known to the Father, Jesus will return (Heb. 9:28, 1 Thess. 4:16-17)

8. The Holy Spirit redeems, convicts, guides, comforts, empowers, and indwells in us as believers (John 14:26, John 16:8, 1 Cor. 6:19)

9. Human nature is sinful and deserving of the punishment of God, but Jesus stepped in to pay the price for that punishment and those who receive Jesus as Lord will be saved (Rom. 3:23, Rom. 10:13)

10. The Bible is the inspired Word of God and all Scripture is profitable for our instruction, correction and training in righteousness (2 Tim. 3:16)
